Where to take your dog for fun and LOCAL Santa photos
Christmas is about making memories with all of your loved ones, so OF COURSE dogs need to be included! One such way is by bringing them along to the annual family Santa pic!
Here are the best places on the North Shore and Northern Beaches to get a Christmas photo with your WHOLE family.
The North Shore
Artarmon Home Centre
Dogs are welcome at the FREE pet-friendly Christmas photos taking place at the Artarmon Home Centre Just look for the festive set up on the ground floor.
- When: 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 22 and 23 December
- Cost: One FREE printed photo. A digital copy and extra prints can be purchased on the day. Book here.
North Sydney
Bring your dog to The Greens in North Sydney for a Christmas photo set against a backdrop of twinkling lights and decorations. Cozy blankets and toys for your dog, as well as Santa hats and reindeer antlers provided!
- When: Sunday 8 and 15 December, 12:30pm – 5:00pm. The Greens, Ridge Street, North Sydney.
- Cost: Free – just be sure to book in advance!
St Ives shopping villiage
You can book a dog-friendly photo sesh with Santa at St Ives shops. Santa with Pets is a Christmas photography session that’s especially reserved for fur-babies and their families.
- When: 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19 and 20 December.

Cowan bush setting
Those living in the upper North Shore or who fancy the outdoors, may like to head to the tip of Sydney, to the sweet little suburb of Cowan, for a gorgeous Christmas in the bush Santa pic. Your best doggie mate is more than welcome. Bookings a must.

Chatswood and Hornsby Westfield
Westfield pet-friendly sessions will be held at both Westfield Chatswood and Westfield Hornsby shopping centres in the ‘lead’ up to Christmas. No judgement if you wish to put a pair of reindeer antlers on your dog!

The Northern Beaches
Bayview dog beach
Treat your best mate to the glorious Bayview Rowland Reserve Dog Park, with its sparkling water, and also grab a sandy photo with Santa. Santa on the Beach Pics will be set up with a Christmas tree, bench and a jolly bare foot Santa on the below dates: Bookings essential.

Hardboard Hotel
Santa’s coming to Freshie and he’s stopping by the Harbord Hotel. Grab the people in your life who matter the most (doggo included) and pose for a fun Salty Santa photo.
- When: 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 December.

Allambie Heights
Emma from Nothern Beaches Santa invites you to bring the family dog along for a Christmas photo in front of a scene called, ‘The Beach Shack’.
“I have printed a beautiful beach backdrop along with a little beach shack to create the perfect relaxed Santa set up,” she says on her website.
- When: 1 December.

Mona Vale Pittwater Place
Santa will be hanging out outside Baker’s Delight in Pittwater Place during November and December. On selected dates (below), you can book your dog in for a pet-session.

Westfield Warringah Mall
Get the pawfect Christmas photo – the one that includes ALL of the family, with Santa! Do some Christmas shopping at ‘The Mall’ and sneak in a pre-booked snap while you’re there.
